Lisa Gentile M.S. coaches individuals as they take their creative passions to the next level. She often works with people who are building a business around their products or taking a creative project, such as a novel or art portfolio, to market. Lisa draws on her training in psychology, education, business, and coaching as well as her experience in organizational development, marketing, and strategic planning. She earned her B.A. in Experimental Psychology at Revelle College at University of California San Diego and her M.S. in Education & Psychology at California State University East Bay. Her coaching training is from Coach Training Alliance.
Lisa provides evidence-based life coaching. She utilizes coaching techniques that draw upon empirically validated research from proven disciplines such as cognitive and behavioral psychology. This means real methods for real life.
Outside of her coaching practice, Lisa maintains a life-long interest in art-making. She is a crafter, a visual artist, a published poet, a National Novel Writing Month winner, a playwright, a screenwriter, and a film director. Two of the plays that she co-wrote with her husband, Nick, have been performed in California. In 2009 the Gentile team celebrated world premiers at the California Independent Film Festival and the Danville International Children's Film Festival.
